The ADU

Thanks to recent State and City legislation, it's now possible to legally create a second dwelling on most residential lots in the cities of Fresno and Clovis. Otherwise known as granny flats, in-law units, and the most recent iteration as tiny homes, these little dwellings offer many ways to reap rewards.

 

These Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) add substantial value to your property in terms of dollar value and emotional/need value. Buyers needs may demand housing an in-law, adult child, home office, or guest house to name a few. By sheer supply and demand, your property's value may increase greatly.

 

ADUs are affordable by design, because they are very small in square footage and use less resources. California is currently suffering a huge housing crisis.
